Verification of companies registered under the Simples Nacional tax regime.

Updated: Feb 28

The registration is the heart of a company's information management system. Combined with other processed, organized, and contextualized data, the registration serves as the foundation for generating information to support decision-making.

A common mistake I’ve witnessed in organizations is the belief that once the data is registered in the system, there’s no need to revisit it. I often say that registration is a "living system": we must always monitor its "health."

Another important aspect to consider is the growing volume of data we generate, which naturally leads to an increased workload for its maintenance. Therefore, we should seek ways to keep the registration clean and productive.

In the video below, I demonstrate a way to analyze whether clients and suppliers are registered under the Simples Nacional tax regime. This technique can be applied to the entire client and supplier database of the organization at once, which is important from a productivity and compliance standpoint, as it’s done using information provided by the competent authority.

This analysis is crucial because it directly impacts the tax field regarding how to configure the system to issue and receive tax documents.

Here is also a link with detailed material demonstrating the process shown in the video.
